Which app should I use?
Choose the app that fits how you plan.
You do not need a more expensive Hōkime subscription for a different device. Supported platform access is part of Hōkime Personal.
Desktop app
Choose Windows or macOS when you prefer a dedicated installed program and plan mainly on a larger screen.
Mobile app
Choose Android or iPhone and iPad for a touch-focused way to review or update your plan away from your desk.
Private by design
Installing Hōkime protects the local workspace on that device.
Supported accounts, balances, transactions, forecasts and scenarios are encrypted inside the protected Hōkime app on your device or devices.

Installing Hōkime on a second device is not the same as signing into an ordinary cloud dashboard. Because your data is stored only on your local device, to back up or share your data with another device you will need to perform a simple secure transfer from one device to the other.

Downloading Hōkime
Can I download Hōkime now?
Not yet. Public app downloads will be available at launch.
Which platforms will be available?
Hōkime will be available on Windows, Android, macOS, iPhone and iPad.
Do I need a separate subscription for each device?
No. One subscription allows you access to the Hōkime app on any supported device.
Will my financial records automatically appear on a new device?
No. Because your data is only stored on your local device, to back up or share your data with another device you will need to perform a simple secure transfer from one device to the other.
Can Hōkime read my workspace when I sign in?
No. All your financial data is stored and encrypted on your device or devices. It is never shared with or seen by Hōkime.
Where should I download updates?
As and when app updates are released, they will update according to your device settings. If a new update is available and not yet installed on your device, you will be prompted to update from within the app when you next launch it.
