1. Draft status
This policy is a pre-launch review draft. Live subscriptions remain blocked until checkout, durable contract confirmation, statutory withdrawal, tax treatment, seller identity and this policy are independently reviewed together.
2. Plan and trial
Hōkime proposes one Personal plan at €7.99 per month. The full-product trial lasts 30 days and does not require a payment card. There is no permanent free plan or annual plan in the current launch contract.
The trial does not become a paid subscription automatically. Paid access begins only after deliberate completion of Stripe Checkout.
3. Starting a paid subscription
Before payment, checkout must display the final price, billing interval, taxes where applicable, renewal behaviour, cancellation route and effective legal terms.
Hōkime stores Stripe customer, subscription and price identifiers and entitlement state. Stripe processes payment-card information; card details do not pass through Hōkime application code.
4. Renewal and price changes
The subscription renews monthly until cancelled. Stripe charges the payment method associated with the subscription. Any price change must be communicated in advance where required and cannot silently alter an advertised billing interval.
The final customer contract and durable confirmation must identify the renewal date or the method for determining it.
5. Cancellation
You can manage or cancel paid renewal through Hōkime account settings and the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless mandatory law or an approved refund requires earlier termination.
Deleting a Hōkime account first attempts to cancel or reconcile an active Stripe subscription. If that cannot be confirmed, deletion must stop rather than risk continued billing without an account.
6. Failed payments and access
A failed payment may place the account in a bounded three-day payment-recovery grace period. If payment is not recovered, account-service access expires while billing, export, local recovery and deletion routes remain available where technically possible.
7. Statutory withdrawal
Consumers may have a statutory fourteen-day right to withdraw from a distance contract. An unequivocal withdrawal statement may be sent to hello@rogueterrapin.io before the deadline.
Hōkime does not rely on a waiver of withdrawal rights in this draft. Before live billing, checkout must be reviewed for immediate performance, express requests, durable confirmations and any lawful proportionate charge.
8. Refunds
Refunds required by mandatory law will be provided. Duplicate charges, incorrect charges or confirmed technical billing errors should be reported promptly and will be investigated against Stripe records.
This draft does not promise a discretionary no-questions-asked refund after the statutory period. Any commercial refund promise must be approved, reflected in billing operations and added to the effective contract before launch.
9. Promotions and free access
Promotional codes, free months, complimentary access and administrative grants are not part of the standard paid contract unless their eligibility, duration, expiry and interaction with cancellation are shown when granted.
10. Contact and records
Billing questions, cancellation problems and withdrawal notices may be sent to hello@rogueterrapin.io. Exact billing, invoice, tax, fraud, refund and dispute retention periods remain subject to the approved retention schedule and independent review.
